Because we knew very well that our first real album had a long journey ahead of it before it was ready to be released, our next music production got a chance and the song “New Wave” came out...
This song opened another door to our world full of abstraction and imagination. It does not aim to change anything, it does not want to present any opinions or attitudes, it does not try to force itself into your favour, it just wants to be your guide and companion on the path full of fantasy, playful synthesis, and non-traditional compositions. The singing demands attention, which further underlines the original sound painting and seems to spread its wings full of tones into fantastic images. Sometimes a guitar riff jumps into the lead role, and elsewhere the piano solo attracts attention. It's an opus that's just starting...
“I had a lot of thoughts in my head when I was composing New Wave. More and more tones sound in my ears. There will be the repetition, and here it is necessary to add a more melancholic undertone... I am adding it with impatience, and now I can peacefully go to bed with a happy smile...”
After New Wave, the strong and dramatic song Rolling Stone came out. It indirectly refers to songs from the turn of the 70s and 80s., mainly because of its construction.
When we were young, we were full of great illusions...
This is actually the topic that the third song on the Free Wave album is about. This song is a kind of climax for us, a certain milestone we wanted to achieve. It was like a bolt from the blue, where the muse will catch you and not let you go until you finish the last tune. I clearly remember the first moment when I heard a chorus sung by Martin, and I thought to myself “Is this even possible? Such a connection, as if we were both standing next to each other, as if we both had the same image or the same vision in front of us. This is exactly why I wrote the song.” It was as if the connection was made in the first second. It is a paradox because it is the opposite of what the song Big Illusions is about...
And then the "Illusions" were replaced by Emotions and we felt a strong desire to sing. After all, this is the case throughout the Free Wave album.
