March 17, 2021, was the second phase of the preparation of the video for the song “In My Blood”. This time we threw ourselves straight into it with a clear vision to connect it with animation.
Our humble team, including one person as both director and actor, a non-actor (more like an extra, that was me), a cameraman, and four other clever colleagues, started with the difficult task of shooting a video clip that would breathe new life into the animated one, give it a new impulse and move the whole experience up a level...
“For example you, Jirka, do you believe in God? I don't believe in God, so it's weird that I'm praying ... This looks more like a suicide ... Well, well, well ... it's a bit like ... whatever...””
It was just such a minimalist adventure into the unknown land, with a simple idea and a clear goal. We wanted to have a video clip that we would one day be remembered with love...
And how was it end in the end?
We will leave the final evaluation and decision to each of you. Personally, I know that I still have to work hard on myself, relax more, and immerse myself in shooting with the same intensity as when I compose. Martin, on the other hand, looks so calm, relaxed and believable. He just has it “In his blood”...
